HUMSS
Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) is an acronym for Humanities and Social Sciences. Senior High students can choose from a variety of strands. This strand is designed for students interested in majoring in journalism, communication arts, liberal arts, teaching, or other social science-related fields in college. The HUMSS strand focuses on increasing a student's reading, writing, and speaking skills since, as you may have noted, those who choose this strand aspire to be members of society who will interact with a large number of people.

The Humss strand focuses on helping students improve their writing, reading, and comprehension skills. It also aids with the fastening of the seat belt for you as you attend college and the strengthening of your logical reasoning. Many important abilities, such as critical thinking, analysis, and creativity, are taught in the humanities.

Some students are being introverts because they do not interact with other teenagers. That is why HUMSS strands can be very beneficial in building self confidence that introverts lack. That’s because the main description of HUMSS is public service and communicating with a large number of people, this strand can help boost and build their self-confidence through the activities that HUMSS provides. One of the advantages of taking a HUMSS strand is that, this strand can build and boost your self-confidence/self-esteem

The HUMSS strand revolves around improving the student’s reading, writing and speaking skills because if haven’t notice yet, people who choose this strand aspiring to become a member of the society who will be dealing with a lot of people. Actually, there is no disadvantages in taking HUMSS strand. But it also has its weakness. Some student thinks that everything that the students do under this strand is the easiest. That’s because the subjects under this strand are less in number. But even the subjects under this strand are less in numbers, students under this strand can also understand number.
HUMSS are for those with deep interest in how the world works, a degree in the arts, humanities or the social sciences. FLEXIBILITY Pursuing a degree in the humanities and social sciences allows for a great deal of flexibility. To begin with, these are extremely broad fields with numerous research alternatives. Hundreds of undergraduate and postgraduate programs are offered by many faculties, typically mixing disciplines and/or language delivery.
